Jira Error "Number of Units: Number of Units is required." when creating a user story

Receiving "Number of Units: Number of Units is required." error in Jira when trying to create a new user story or epic. Never had this issue before.

Hey Irfaan,

I might be wrong, but it seems that you have a field "Number of units".

This field is configured to be "required" for story and epic, could be for some other issue types as well. On top of that it could be that this field is not configured to be shown on your issue creation screen.
As a result, you have a field that is required to be specified when creating story or epic, but you cannot do it since it is not shown on a screen.

If that's the case, you can:

1. Add "Number of units" field to your issue creation screen.
2. Mark "Number of units" field as optional.
