Jira - HTML pasted into description of task is stopping the display of Buttons and breaking formatting.

When a a copy of a web page is pasted into the description field for a JIRA incident and the incident is displayed, only the description is shown, edit buttons etc and other JIRA formating is missing from page. This stops us from entering time or closing the issue.   Any ideas how to resolve this?

This kind of sound like a bug. I think it would be better to search/create an issue on the public JIRA: http://jira.atlassian.com
