Hello @Richardson Facile ,

You can do it quickly by clicking on the issue type icon at the top left of an issue :

Key for changing the issue type for an issue depends on its workflow with a Jira project. Try either one of them.

Method 1 (Issue type/s having the same workflow and field configuration)
a.View the issue that you wish to change the issue type.
b. By clicking the edit button you are allowed to change the issue type of that issue.
Method 2 (Issue type/s having a different workflow or field configuration, then MOVE the issue) and this method will allow you update the status along with the change of the issue type.
a.View the issue that you wish to move.
b.Select More > Move.
c.The first page of the Move Issue wizard is displayed. Complete the steps required.
d.The confirmation page will display with all of your changes. If you wish to revise any of your changes, you can click the appropriate step in the left-hand menu to return to that page of the wizard. Once you are happy with your changes, click Move to move the issue to the target project.
e.Your issue will be moved to the target project and displayed on screen. You can now edit the issue to make further changes, if you wish.
