Hi Jira team,
I have the following issues, and I would appreciate it if you could help me. I tried to find helpful posts in the community and through google but I couldn’t.
I added Jira to MS teams to install it in one private channel to track a project directly in MS Teams.
Thank you, I appreciate your help.
Ps. to not be able to get support on such an important issue but having to ask the community kind of scares me away from using Jira in the future. This was the first project we wanted to implement and then change to a paid plan if it works. In general I like the web platform, but the integration and missing service was just leading to troubles.
Ps2 Furthermore, now I want our data to be deleted. To do so I have to contact the vendor, but direct emails are not answered any more. How do I get our data deleted now?
Best regards
Milan
1. Private channels are not permitted by Microsoft. So it is not technically possible for any App (at this moment).
Thank you for the answer.
2. The messages stay in the chat even if you deleted the App.
This doesnt answer the questions, our channel owners and admins cant delete the message. HOW can the Jira message in the public channel "General" be deleted?
3. Deletion of the app does not cause the deletion of the data it had produced.
I am aware of that. I googled about the topic and searched in the community here.
HOW do I get our data deleted?
P.S. You can always try Advanced Microsoft Teams Jira Connector and get rapid support.
Thank you. But I think that wont help me with the current problems.
This is something you'll need to ask of MS Support, it's not a problem with Jira, it's Teams that is not letting you delete stuff you posted.
