Jira List view - keeping the hierarchy tree while having an active filter

Hi there,

my customer primarly uses the List view to oversee a Jira project. The List view also shows the hierarchy tree epic -> task -> subtask, but only as long as you don't apply a filter (here our need is to exclude a certain status).

Is there sill no way to set this in the List view? Or any alternative other than to switch to a marketplace app or using Plans where I get a list with hierarchy even though filters are applied?

Thank you

Hi @Harald Heinz,

Yes. Since some time the All Work view also shows your work in a hierarchy, even when you apply filters there.

Hope this helps!

Hi Harald,

Her is a link to the request for those. I encourage you to vote for it and follow it.

But yes, Plans would be the best route to go right now.
