We are currently in the process of doing test migrations from Jira Datacentre to Jira Cloud. One of the things that is confusing us is multi project boards. These won't get migrated, but we are struggling with the logic that makes Jira recognise a board as multi project so that we can go and remediate them before the migration.
Anyone else figured out a good fix for this?
Thanks

That's one of the boards that doesn't make it across.
Did you consider skipping migrate this board (if it is only one or few boards) and recreate it in Jira Cloud?

Hi,
That is our current plan, but since there are 800 that we would need to recreate, we were hoping to get a solution to fix it before the migration.
Thanks

Unfortunately I found issues that shows that Atlassian didn't handle with your case :(

Yeah, that's why we want to better understand how Jira recognises a board as being multi project so that we can change them to not be multi project anymore so that they will get migrated.

JQL filter is place where you define project and issues on boards. Did you try that?

We've looked at the JQL, but the problem is, some boards have no indication that they would be multi project and aren't getting migrated and we don't know why.
