Jira Misc Custom Fields addon

We recently upgraded to Jira 8.0.2.  At this point Jira Misc Custom Fields started costing.  I have seen this with other free apps that suddenly start costing money.

Was there a version before it started to cost that still works?

Any known alternatives?

Hi,

you can't simply switch to another custom field plugin without need of migration or losing data.

Usually reason for moving from free to paid is simple - more features, active development.

BTW especially this plugin is really cheap for bundled features.

Yeah i understand that.  But just because somebody says there are more feature in this version then in the last version that was free, does not make people automatically want to PAY MONEY $$$$$.

so I am looking for alternative... like the previous version of JMCF still works with Version 8.0.2 of Jira.

Its the typical scenario... use a free plugin, have it working and then the company forces you to pay or you have to roll back that functionality.
