Jira Software Cloud Attachments Limitations?

We are in the process of transitioning to an AGILE environment and, in conjunction, moving from FogBugz(Kiln) to JIRA (Cloud)/Bitbucket.  We would like to import historical issue/ticket info including any and all attachments.  The plan, at the moment, is to leverage an API for the export and the available JIRA custom import.

When we have imported issues and begin re-attaching documents, will we reach a capacity or any other limitations?

Hi David,

how big is your instance? Currently, there's a 250GB (soft) limit for cloud instances according to the Atlassian Cloud storage policy.

Best, Max

Hi Max,

I don't know how to check the size of our current instance. However, your answer is exactly what I was looking for.  I find it hard to believe that we'll exceed 250GB any time in the near future.

Thanks,

Dave

You're welcome, and if you happen to run into this limit - it will be possible to purchase additional storage for all Jira & Confluence cloud products (as they share the 250GB) in 2019 at some point. :)
