I use the Jira Time Tracking feature against each ticket in a project.
I produce the Time Tracking report each week to assess how on track we are.
Currently, Jira tells me the DEV team are over by 2d 7h 4m in the web interface. When I export this to excel and do a sum on the Accuracy column (which is in minutes) I get a different value, the total being -1564, which is actually just over 26 hours, so in pretty time, 3d 2h...
I've double checked that the Accuracy column is correct by doing the following calc:
original time estimated - total time spent
This leaves me with the same value.
All the other columns sum to the same value (in minutes) as the web interface shows in pretty time.
I need to understand why there is a difference here as I have to report to our board whether the team are over budget and by how much.
