Is it possible to configure the Jira Traceability Report, for example configure the columns and export the information?

Hi @Joe ,

Some people use Structure app to achieve it for example as it provides full flexibility; however, it may struggle getting the information related with testing.

If you're using a test management tool (not sure if you are), then it may or not provide the ability to configure those columns. f you're using Xray for test management, you can see the Epics>Stories>Tests>Runs>Defects relations, and even other relations besides Epics>Stories, as long as you configure Xray to handle those issue types properly and their relations,

Hi @Manuel

You have been repeatedly necro-posting to recommend marketplace vendor products.  This does not comply with the guidelines for vendor posts.

Also, when recommending a marketplace vendor product, please ensure you disclose your affiliation to that vendor in your post wording. For more information about this, please see:

Hi @Bill Sheboy ,

thanks for sharing those links, I will have a careful look at them.

I indeed replied to several questions, some of them old; if that is not ok, I won't do it anymore. I was trying to be helpful. I know and have used many apps; my recommendations are based on my experience from many years and the goal was to help others.

Regards,

Manuel

Hi Joe,
I am assuming that traceability is expressed via the links between jira issues. If that is correct then I recommend you check this Confluence App: Jira Snapshots for Confluence.
This App add to Confluence the "Jira Snapshot" macro which can retrieve Jira data into Confluence, with as many levels that you need in your traceability.
Using the macro is simple: you just define the JQL (Jira Query Language) that selects the data, and the fields to display. For the 2nd level (and any lower level) you define a JQL that is dependent on the previous level- this is what creates the hierarchy.
I see you are on Server- and this App is only available on Cloud and Data Center, but you can contact the vendor and they probably can let you know if they can provide a version for server (Disclosure: I am the CEO of RadBee, the vendor behind this App)

Hope this helps,

Rina

Hi @Joe

Is that report an addon from the marketplace?  If so, you may want to check the vendor's documentation page in the marketplace to see what information they offer: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/

Best regards,

Bill
