Jira Webhook Authentication

Hii Guys,

I have setup a webhook and now I want to authenticate that webhook. can some how I can get this authority that my api which I have given to jira as a callback is getting called by jira server only.

Can we do something to handle this?

I am using Api key authentication to call jira rest api's.

We don't have direct authentication option in Jira webhook and have a FR for the same. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-31953

 

To workaround this, you can use automation rule to send webhook.
