Can Jira Issues from multiple Projects be a part of a single Confluence page?

They sure can! If you add the Jira Issues macro to your page, you can specify a JQL query that pulls issues from multiple projects.  Check out the documentation here:

I am using the free trial version but we plan to use the Cloud version. I was unable to find how to enter a JQL - any recommendations?

Welcome to the community. 

Do you mean if the issues can be linked to one page?

That is no problem , you can link issues from as many projects as you want on one confluence space.
