Jira attachments in (MySQL) database?

Hi there,

I use MySQL as backend for JIRA and it works great so far, the only downside is, that images / attachments are stored in the home directory. Is there a way to store those in the database as well? My instance isn t that big and it would significantly save time with backup creation.

Greetings,
Daniel

That would be a first step for clustering. No, so far Atlassian did not implement this, attachments are still on disk

Thanks for the prompt answer. Quite a shame as confluence already supports that.
