I need to update the Jira cloud query in sheets every day manually, Is there a way to automate the process?

Hi @Mancilha ,

Please have a look at our Google Sheets Integration add-on. After some set up, it can exactly do what you are looking for: it can send changes from Jira to Google Sheets in real-time (when changes happen) or scheduled (for example, you can tell it to refresh once a day). Also it is more robust than Jira Cloud for Sheets. Give it a try.

It is a bit different approach of the problem, but you can generate a new custom Excel report periodically using this app and send it a mailbox or attach to a Jira issue:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212797/better-excel-automation-for-jira-free?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

It produces a standard XLSX file which can then be imported to Google Sheets. You can even make a little script which gets the file from the mailbox and imports it to Google Sheets, and then it is 100% automatic.

(Discl. it is an app developed and supported by our team.)
