Hi,
I opened another ticket before. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Jira-could-not-get-all-issue-after-upgrade-to-8-1/qaq-p/1083706?utm_source=atlcomm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=accept_as_solution_reminder&utm_content=topic
I updated my jira step by step from 6.12 to 7.0 - 7.13 - 8.1. I also take new licence code(renewal licence). But I could not use jira correctly. For example, I want to search issue, it does not work.
You can see below my dashbord screen.
Also you can see search result screen.
filter error
I want to upload log file, but I could not succeed because it exceeded ticket's character limit(20000).
I think it may caused by plugins. You can see my existing old plugins.(6.1.2)
How can I fix these problems? Can you share your opions please?
Thanks&Regards.
Hi Nic,
My licence is valid. It was send by atlassion this morning. We use Jira Server Software and not use Service Desk. I dont understand why service desk version was come after install the "atlassian-jira-software-8.1.0-x64.exe".
Second step, I am trying now. Also I make re-index before. Because all of our issue record does not come back in jira after upgrade to 8.1
That's not what your error messages say. You appear to have Jira Service Desk installed with an invalid licence.
If you don't want to be using JSD, that's fine, but you should reduce the numbers of people flagged to be allowed to use it down within your licence limit (which may well be zero if you have no licence) or remove it. Both can be done from Admin -> Manage applications.
If you are missing issues, then you should check where - pick one you think is missing. For example ABC-123. Can you search for it using an attribute you think is there (like "summary ~ excel" or something simple like that)? Whatever the result of that, can you then check if the issue is there? https://yourjira/browse/ABC-123

Thanks for adding some of the errors. Unfortunately, you have several which could be compounding and hiding others.
There are two steps I would take here. First, get a valid licence or reduce your user levels to one that fit. The licence will not be causing a problem itself, but it is going to make it harder to do any work on tracing the real problem.
Second, run a full locking re-index - search errors, unable to get history etc, can all point to a problem with the index, so killing the current one and rebuilding it from scratch might help. Importantly though, capture the log when you run it. If it errors during the indexing, that could tell us a lot about the underlying problem.

Cant see any valid errors. Please try clearing the plugin cache and index, not sure this might be the reason.

There's nothing attached here, we can't see your errors at all.
