Jira import from CSV, i am unable to import the defects in to Jira

Hi Team,

we have few open defects in Jira software which we want to import to JWM, can some one guide me how to do it, I tried to do it but those are getting created as tasks instead of defects. Please help

Is "defect" an custom issue type in your Jira instance?
