Attempting a Jira upgrade test from 7.7.1 to 7.12.1 on a virtual test environment.
My first step was install 7.7.1:

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the installer, my first thought is it might have something to do with OS level permissions but I have a few questions about this:

Hi Keri, thanks for getting back to me. I too am starting to think it is a permissions issue since, after moving on to attempting a Confluence upgrade test, I experienced an identical outcome, and a permissions error when trying to install a JDK. I'll update you further once we look into this more on our end, hopefully it will be resolved.

Hey Keri, we got back onto this project last week and figured out that it was an OS permissions issue. and everything is working properly now. Thanks for the assistance.
