Jira not responding when entering text in the description field of a Jira ticket

Hi, When I want to add text in the description field of an Jira ticket it is not responding. I have to refresh and then it comes back after closing the session. Any idea what is causing this? I am using a Mac Book pro and Jira In Chrome. 

For another client I am using JIra on my Mac as well and there it is possible to enter text and make use of the full potential of Jira.

Two ideas come to my mind (while it is a bit hard to tell what exactly is the cause without seeing the effect 'in live').

1. Do you use any Jira App which might interfere with the field? If there is any App you could review them and check if this is the cause.
2. If Jira is not the cause maybe the browser is involved in some way. Maybe you have the chance to cross-check with a different browser and if it was the source of causing this effect clearing the cache, cookies (and so on) might help.
