Jira required filed

Hi!

I want to make a required filed in Jira.

I have read the documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Specifying+Field+Behaviour

but when I do it (click on "Required"), when I create an issue there isn't the " red star (*) " near the name of the field that I have choiced and if I close the creating issue, it didn't give me the error that I didn't have insert the value in tha field.

Are you sure you maked it required in the field configuration scheme being used?

I have resolve it. I was working on a different "Field Configuration"!!!
