Hello,
Earlier today a coworker reported to me that I had removed some issues from his sprint. I had never before seen his backlog or board, and I have never worked with any issue related to his project.
When I checked the issue history it looked like I had done what he described. This is clearly impossible.
Is there any explanation for this other than a bug?
I'm a Jira Administrator.
Thanks.
Hi, Mariana
Sprints aren't dependent on a specific board or project. It's therefore possible for a sprint to be displayed in more than one board, for example, and any modifications you do in one board will apply to the other board as well.
Also, another very common issue is users that use the same sprint names for different projects (for example Sprint 1, Sprint 2..), then accidentally make modifications in the wrong sprint.
If you want to dig this further with us, I recommend you to open a ticket support and provide us further information like the sprint name, affected board of your coworker :)
I can also open the request on your behalf if you prefer.
Gabi
Hi Gabi,
Thanks for your quick response. My comments inline:

Got it. This wasn't the case though. We have one sprint per board/project. But thanks for the info.

That's interesting. My coworker's sprint was called "2019-2". None of the other sprints I completed were named the same, so I guess that wasn't the problem either.
If you can open the ticket for me, that would be great.
