i have another issue and acccidentally i discover something related to this problem:

because i dont' want the tempo issue view panel, i ask for intruction from tempo support team to disable it, and i do as instructed below:

"We do NOT recommend / support disabling a module because it can generate unforeseen behaviors and may cause further issues. But if you ABSOLUTELY need to disable the Tempo Panel, you can go to Jira Administration - Add-on - Manage Add-on - System Plugin: Tempo Core, and disable the "tempo-issue-view-panel".

i disable Tempo Core’s tempo-issue-view-panel and the panel now disappears, as I want.

  • when i disable the tempo-issue-view-panel, then the Jira’s standard worklog shows up again in issue’s More menu. and i can log work normally with Jira standard’s worklog
  • but (again), if i click on Tempo’s Work Log in issue’s More menu, it shows both Tempo worklog and Jira’s worklog on screen.

Hi Admin,

We are aware of this problem and are working on a fix for this.

As a workaround, can you please use the "." keyboard shortcut and enter "Log work" in the dialog. This should give you two options, one of them opens the Tempo Log work dialog, the other one the JIRA Log work dialog.
