Jql query- between two criteria

I have a jira cloud project and i want to build a filter to query between two criteria the Summary that is the task and i want some of them and the Subcontractor who is the employee who performs the task and i want some of them. The problem is when i try to give the Subcontractor the filter gives me back more results from that i want.

Hi,

Sounds like you may be using the OR operator between your two conditions and you want to use AND instead.

If you share your JQL search (anonymize anything that might be sensitive) it would be easier to understand and assist.
