Ok, so I'll try to break this down as simply as possible.
We have a software project set up to manage HR tasks and to use a customised KANBAN board. This board has been in use for the last 8 months. Recently, the ownership has changed from our former COO to our owner / CEO and the board has been set to private.
The board owner is the company owner, and he is set to be a project administrator. The other three users are myself (Jira administrator, administrator role), HR Manager (administrator role), and the other company owner (administrator role).
The admins of the KANBAN board for the space are set to myself, the owner, and the HR Manager.
This morning, my HR manager has returned to work after Christmas and she can no longer see the KANBAN board.
The link to show the board no longer appears in the left column of the project view, and when she clicks the dropdown it says that there is no board for this project. Clearly, this is not correct because the board is still showing and working for me.
She is still able to access all of her assigned issues on the board.
She was also not able to access the board from the all projects list in Jira - it was listed as Private and no link was shown. I shared the board (not project) with her again to see if that made any difference. She was then able to access the project from the projects list, but she was forced into Issue view for the project and no KANBAN board was available for use.
I have also tried removing her from the project completely and re-adding her, but this has made no difference.
At present this seems to only be affecting her use of the project and associated board.
Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this issue? I'm at a loss.
Hello @Paul Thomson
To access to the board you need some rights like you said :
When you switched from the old owner to the new one, did you check the owner of the filter (is it still the current filter and if so, is it still shared with your HR manager?).
This is a strange case... If my answer is wrong, can you please give me more details?
Regards,
JM
