I'm the Admin of multiple Jira Kanban based software projects. Over the last few days when I go to "Clear" the done items manually, they continue to reappear after I refresh the page.
Any thoughts?
Turned out to be a platform issue. It has been resolved by Jira. All ok now :)
I have seen posts about this in the Jira Software Questions forum also. Multiple people are reporting this as an issue.
I recommend that you reach out directly to Atlassian Support on this.

How are you "clearing" the issues?
If you're trying to clear issues using a particular Status (say Status=Obsolete) then move that Status under Unmapped Statuses section in Configure Board > Columns.
