LDAP configuration - credentials sometimes asked multiple times before working

Hello,

I have a question regarding authentication issues.

We have configured JIRA LDAP so that users connect with their AD account info.

It works fine most of the time, but sometimes users have to type their password multiple times before being able to access (sometimes almost 10 times)

I had a look at this post, but timeout doesn't seem to be the reason since it's already set to 20s : https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Configuring-Timeout-For-LDAP/qaq-p/318271

Our AD team checked the config, which is OK

I'm not sure what I can try now to make it work ... any suggestion would be appreciated

Thank you for your answer.

I saw this thread but I'm not sure it's the same issue, if I understand correctly, it seems to happen whenever the already connected used tries to make an action in JIRA for example on a different tab. Am I correct ? 

In my case, it's when a user tries to log in initially, and it can fail 5/10 times before working.

This problem for all users? Could You please try different browsers? Check the network connection, maybe you have a lots lost package?

I can't really tell if it's for all users, but multiple users for sure.

I'll try to ask them to use another browser, but they mainly use Chrome, the only other browser in my organization is IE ...

The network connection seems fine though.
