Hi,
The "Label" field in Jira has the functionality of auto-complete the word you are looking either in letters uppercase or lowercase. When I added a new label called "+Sprint" since the first character in the label is "+", the auto-complete doesn't seem to be able to identify the "+". The only way is to click inside the Label field to have a suggestion the +Sprint inside dropdown. Is there a way the sign would be part of the auto complete, thanks,
Bob
Hi @Bob Yu,
I've tested here and this issue is happening only on the new issue view.
When using the old view, it shows correctly when I search adding a character.
I've created a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability on the new issue view:
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.

Hi Angelica,
I just did a test for an older Epic that is opened a while ago. When using the New UI, seems to have the same effect as the Labels, where I couldn't find it. By using the OLD UI of Jira, I could find the Epic, please validate this with me, thanks.

Hi Bob,
I've tested here using an Epic with a "+" and the "Add to Epic" finds correctly the Epic:
Can you give us more details about the test that you made? Did you add the special character in the beginning/middle/end of the Epic name?
Regards,
Angélica

Hi Angelica,
For the Epics, it seems to work, somehow an old epic with an old ticket had the problem, I can't reproduce it anymore. When I will be able to reproduce, I will let you know, thanks.

Hi Bob!
Can you confirm which Jira version are you using?
I'm asking this because I did a test on the 7.12.3 version and seems everything working as expected, take a look at the below screenshot:

Hi Henrique,
I'm using the Cloud Jira Atlassian version, the latest, not sure which version. No, we aren't using any plugin. Also, we are using the default screen from Jira in the New Jira UI, thanks.
