Labels; Do they Automatically tag an Epic if a child Story or Task is Tagged?

Are the labels assigned to tasks and stories automatically assigned to their Epic, or if an Epic is labeled, will it automatically be assigned to children?

No, labels will not be automatically inherited from parent issues to child issues.

To transfer the labels to a child issue, you may create an automation rule to facilitate this process.

Thanks Sam, the article does not describe this, but I appreciate your quick repose here. So does this also mean that the labels will not be automatically assigned to an Epic if a child is tagged with a new label? Essentially there is NO way to automatically assign the labels to other relevant types correct? Thanks again! ;-)

By default, labels will not be automatically assigned to an Epic when a child is tagged with a new label. However, you have the option to create an Automation rule to facilitate this process in the background.
