Hello,

I have purchased a 10 users on demand Jira.

And also a Customware connector for Salesforce for 10 users .

When I try to install the customware License, it is rejected because the Jira license is for unlimited !

While this is probably best answered by emailing our sales department ( sales at atlassian dot com ), let me take a shot at it. How did you get the Customware Salesforce license? (I don't see a record of the purchase in on the account that your email is linked to.) I'm guessing that you may have purchased the license from Salesforce directly and accidentally purchased one for the download version of JIRA. With OnDemand, the licensing is a bit different on the back end, and you should not have to enter in a license key.

If my above guess is correct, I would recommend going to https://my.atlassian.com and adding the Customware-Salesforce plugin to your account and then contacting Customware to get a refund on the license you previously purchased.

If you did order the Customware-Salesforce license from https://my.atlassian.com, please call/email/enter a support ticket so we can fix that right away.

Hi Nik,

thank you for your answer.

I have purchased the connector licence directly from Customware.

I don't see how nor where "add Customware-Salesforce plugin to my account"

Stephan - my appologies...I should have consulted with sales on this. You were completly right about needing to get the license from Customware, we do not yet have the link in place. It still sounds like you have the wrong license type, but I am going to get a member of our sales team on here to make sure this can be resolved right away.

Hi Stephan,

Simon from sales here.

The Customware-Salesforce plugin is enabled by default in your OnDemand instance. You shouldn't have to add/install it. The problem seems that the license is being rejected when it shouldn't be. Im afraid we can't be of much help directly since the plugin is licensed by Customware. Please send an email to Customware describing your problem and they will be able to help:

info@customware.net

Sorry I can't be of any help at this time.

I suspect you need to talk to OnDemand support about this. We can't see your OnDemand settings, and we don't know the details of how OnDemand works.
