I have a custom field with a long list of options possible. I use this field across multiple projects. Is there a way to limit the list of options depending on the project that it is located in, or do I have to somehow create multiple custom fields to accomplish the same thing.
The field is called "Work Category" and is used for management reporting and tracking statistics. I don't want to have more than one field if I can help it, but I also don't want all 22 options in the context to show in all projects, as users could then choose an option that is not appropriate for the work in that particular project.
You can limit the list by setting up custom field context, you can then configure the values in the different contexts for each project.
