Line breaks and post function

I'm trying to set the description field using a post function with a list:

  • xxx
  • yyy
  • zzz

 

But how do I set the line breaks? as I'm getting xxx yyy zzz as the result.

oh a list... it should be asterisk followed by a space. * List 1 * List 2 * List 3
