I am able to do integration between Jira and GitHub. Need to configure issues, commits, comments synching between Jira and GitHub.
This is Majid @ Exalate.
I am not sure how you are doing this integration between Github and Jira, but have you come across our tool Exalate before? The app specializes in fully synchronizing your Jira instance to Github issues and pull requests. Your can configure your data to flow bidirectionally or uni-directionally.
Please feel free to book a demo if you would like to see the product in action.
Thanks
Majid
@Parmeshwar Jadhao hi. If you're open to other tools that can help you connect the two systems - check out ZigiOps. It's a no-code integration tool that can easily be customized to fit your use case in a few clicks. It can help you integrate Jira & Github and pull requests, commits and branches from GitHub in Jira, and details from Jira tasks, bugs and stories in GitHub. Comments, issues - too. It connects the systems bi-directionally so the data between them will sync immediately. Check it out and book a demo in case you want to see it in action.
Regards, Diana (ZigiWave)

Hello @Parmeshwar Jadhao ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
If you've finished setting up the integration, to link a Jira issue to a commit, start the commit comment with the Jira Issue ID.

I have already tried commenting with Jira issue ID, but it didn't work. Do you have any article link. Even same tried with from GitHub also. but no luck.

At this point, I need you to be more specific, including screenshots if possible.
What kind of Jira (Cloud, Server/Data Center)?
What kind of GitHub (Github.com, Enterprise Server)?
What steps did you do? What were the responses?

I'm not comfortable with solving issues via email, mainly for the following reasons:
1. If I give you my email, there's now an unwritten expectation that I'm on your beck and call for "Jira support issues". That's not fair to my clients, who actually pay for the solutions I provide. I'm happy to serve the Atlassian Community by sharing my knowledge, but my clients come first.
2. If you provide more detail, another community member may chime in to offer support. The dialogue then becomes valuable with multiple points of view.
3. Other people may have the same issue. The dialogue then becomes helpful, allowing them to solve their issues.
If you want one-on-one support and are on a Jira Standard, Premium, or Enterprise plan, then feel free to go to https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ and create a Support ticket.
If you're on the Free plan, please continue this dialogue with more details. You can redact company-specific information.

Hi Robert,
Thank you for your help. Now I have learned the solution to add branches, commits, pull request in Jira. Please find the attached screenshot.
Still looking for below options.
- GitHub and Jira comments are not getting sync. e.g. If I comment on GitHub with Key issue or Comment on Jira issue with GitHub issue key. Those are not getting updated on Jira or GitHub issue page.
- What are the limitations of Jira and GitHub synching, do we need to use third party integration tools?

To answer your question, to sync Jira issues with GitHub issues you need a third-party integration such as Exalate mentioned above by @Syed Majid Hassan -Exalate-
The standard integration is what you currently have connected (Jira issue to repository artifacts).

Thank you Robert for your updates.
Can you please mention what are more key points possible with Exalate other than current default Jira-GitHub integration?
@Syed Majid Hassan -Exalate- If possible, you can answer this question.

Exalate for Github supports sync for Github issues and pull requests. Please have a quick read through this document and let me know in case you have any questions.
Thanks
Majid
