Linked Issues field does not display in Context Fields under issue Details

Issue:

• Linked Issues field does not display in the Context Fields (right hand column of the issue view under Details)

To recreate:

• I've added the Linked Issues field to my configuration screen.
  
• Linked Issues are enabled and permissions are set correctly for all users.
• I've tried to set the field to display in my project under Layout settings as shown here.
  
• There is no Linked Issue field available in the Context Fields.

Expected:

• I should be able to add Linked Issues to the Context Field so that the field displays under the issue details as shown here.

The Linked Issues field cannot be customized to appear in the Context Fields section in the new issue view, as you mentioned. This limitation is a known issue and has been reported by other users as well.

Currently, the Linked Issues field can be found in the "Issue Links" section below the description and above the comments on the new issue view.

While this placement is not ideal if you want to have it in the Context Fields section, it's the default location for Linked Issues in the new issue view.

You can consider providing feedback to Atlassian using the "Give feedback" option in Jira to request the ability to customize the Linked Issues field position in the new issue view.

In the meantime, you may need to accept the default placement of the Linked Issues field in the new issue view.
