Local IP Address to Domain Name

i would like to know how to change local IP address http://172.24.xxx.xx:8080/ to make it easier to remember, i want to give it a domain name like Jira-UAT.<mycompany>.com.

how can i do this ?

You should use a web server for resolving IP to Domain name. Something like Apache or IIS.
