Location field

The location(uuid and google map) field does not show up in issues anywhere. I've used "find my field" and everything checked out. I was trying the same thing with "organization" field; it showed up. So I believe the "location" field has some bugs or I'm missing something?

This is an older question, sure, but it didn't yield a solid answer, and I'm running into this same issue.

I wound up having to manually create a "context" for the uuid field before I could add it to an issue layout. I've double-checked to make sure that the specified layout is active, everything is enabled in a screen, field scheme, etc.

And yet, still can't get a Location field to appear when creating a new issue or editing an old issue type.

Is there any kind of up-to-date documentation on the "Location" and "uuid" fields at all? It seems like these are a complete mystery!

Hello @Lennon ,

Please check whether this field is configured with the screen or not. Please add "secure/admin/ViewFieldLayouts.jspa" with your Jira URL and it will take you to the field configuration page of your instance and then you look in the required field scheme used in your project.
