Go to boards > select boards > active sprint view > Click on ticket > open pop up with details

You can definitely do this. Take a look at my screenshot below:
On the top right of the issue you'll see the three dots that you can click to expand more options.
That is from a Server instance but it works the same in Cloud. If I misunderstood your request please let me know and we'll go from there.
