My developers are experiencing an extremely long load time for issues in Chrome for Jira. (20-30 Seconds).
Could someone provide some insight into how I can trouble shoot and speed up the site loading times? Someones it is a normal speed sometimes it takes for ever.
It appears there my be several services from the APi in Jira we are having difficulty connecting to or authenticating against. Example, in the screen shot is shows a "Could not get announcement from server: timeout" in the Chrome console. There was also a failed validation at origin.
I tried to add a proxy setting to allow this Atlassian site to bypass our proxy, but this had 0 effect. There were some other questions on here referring to the Proxy settings, but it didn't quite going into detail.
Also there was an issue referring to custom fields perhaps taking a longtime to load from the history, but there wasn't much detail on how to exactly correct this issues.
This is all running from a remote desktop that all developers share. Any information or ideas are greatly appreciated.
If you are running Jira Cloud you can open a support ticket with Atlassian to have them help you narrow down the culprit/remedy this issue. When our instance hit a similar hiccup the engineers at Atlassian actually moved the instance to a more robust server/hardware to help alleviate slowness issues we were seeing. Looking into Jira Cloud best practices can help with this if its a self inflicted slowness.
