I am looking for a report that will work across multiple projects.  I have people assigned to these projects and am looking for 1 report that will show the work.

Hello @Jennifer Mayo

If I understand you properly, I guess you can try Time in Status for Jira Cloud and its time in status or assignee time report which shows who and how long has been working on the issues. All you need is to:

  • Choose the report
  • Filter by Project (or any other criteria)
  • Get the report on the grid or graphical Charts view.

This add-on is developed by my SaaSJet team and is free for teams up to 10 users.

Hope you find it helpful

Hi @Jennifer Mayo

Welcome to the community !!

If you are fine with a mktplace app to get this data, try out our app.

Agile Tools : Epic Tree, Links Tree, Time in Status & Worklogs

You can get detailed reports of the projects, which you can group by assignees. And track the progress of each task assigned to them. Also the app contains multiple time in status reports to track issue workflows.

Do try it out.

The app is free upto 10 users

Disclaimer : I work for RVS, the vendor for this app

Hi @Jennifer Mayo

Can you provide us with more details, please? What is your Jira hosting type? And what do you want to see in the report?

If you are interested in user activities across multiple projects, I can suggest this use case:

How to get the whole history of changes for 5 projects?

Our work is segmented by teams.  So for example I have a team working on 2024 certification with 4 instructional designers tasked with completing the development.  Those same developers are also part of another team working with a vendor who is developing courses for us.

I want to be able to see for an instructional designer how many courses/work is assigned so I can better judge capacity.

I was able to do this in a dashboard but would love to get a report also showing the same information.

It looks like the User Workload report can help if you have it in your project.
