Looking for a test management app which solves our workflow issue.

Good morning,

My team is looking for a test management app which has a solution for communication between developers and testers. So far we've tried Xray, but we're not quite happy with it. Ideally, we want to find a way to manage a case like this: 

1. A tester goes through a test cycle, and finds some tests that fail.
2. The tester creates a defect, or a bug issue-type, etc., for the covered issue for that test.
3. The defect/bug is automatically linked to the original issue for the feature's implementation. 
4. The developer can see the test that failed from the original issue.
5. When the developer implements a fix, we want them to be able to communicate back to the tester which tests can be re-run. Ideally they would be able to due this directly from the covered issue without having to search for the test execution for each failed test and comment.

For Xray we have steps 1-4 down. Step 5 just isn't there for us yet.

Does anyone else use another test management app with a similar workflow?

One way of tackling Step 5 is to use Test Plans, which will allow you to better plan and organize your workflow issue.
