Macro Editing & Inserting in Confluence 4

Confluence v4.1.9

I have noticed in Confluence 4 that when trying to edit a macro, you can click on the macro and click EDIT and then nothing happens.

Only after you manually go and insert another macro using the inser macro option (which generally takes a long time to display the macro wizard)

It seems there is something missing initially which inserting another macro fixes.

Has anyone else come across this?

I am seeing it on every page I work with and consistently gets fixed by inserting another macro on the page. If I exit the page edit and then try again, I am again stuck until I have added another macro.

What version of Confluence are you using?

I face this issue sometimes but not regularly.
