Make Jira Core Issues Private

Hey guys,

I have a shared tasks Jira Core project. We will all use the tasks board, but I would like to have the ability to allow the reporter to make his/her tasks "invisible" to everyone except the task reporter if desired. For example, if  I, or another team member, would like to add more personal tasks that they do not want to share with the team.

I have set the Project Settings > Permissions > Set Issue Security to "Reporter" but the filed is not available to be added to tasks.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @Jason_Steele,

Welcome to the Community!

In addition to setting the Issue Security Level, you will also need to add the "Security Level" field to the screen(s) for the various actions where you wish to see that field present (e.g. create, edit, worflow transistions) for that project.
