Make a sub-task's status match parent issue's current status on creation

Hello,

in our Jira I need create a sub-tasks with status of a parent issue. I can not figure out how to set up. Is there any simple solution how to do it?

No procedures on google do not match my Jira settings.

As @Jack Brickey  suggested you will need a paid plugin for for this.

But since you are on cloud, thus I am not very optimistic if it's possible to achieve what you want on cloud instance as on cloud you don't have direct access to underlying Jira APIs in the plugins. But you can give it a try with the plugins mentioned by Jack.

You will need an addon to accomplish this.  Something like Automation for Jira, Scriptrunner or Powers Scripts.
