Make fields mandatory while creating a link issue

Hi,

I have two requirements for JIRA cloud

* Few fields to be mandatory on the existing issue from where user is going to create  linked issue. Without those mandatory fields it should not allow the user to create the linked issue

* When a user creates a linked issue, all  the fields value from original to the linked issue has to be automatically copied.

Any help would be appreciated.

As for your first point, I think you can add youself as a watcher (and add your vote) to this feature request right here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-7056

With regards to the second point, you are able to set this up using Automation. This isn't an OOTB feature, but can be done.
