Hello, everyone!
Right now, to create a project with shared configuration, you need to:
1) click "Projects";
2) select "Create project";
3) select "Create with shared configuration" from the bottom of the pop-up screen;
4) select a project;
5) enter a name and a key.
Is there a way to make a shortcut?
For example, if I have some template project (named, say, "Template") and I need to create lots of other projects with the same configuration, can I add a button on a pop-up screen which lets me skip steps 3 and 4?
Hi @Lialia
creating project templates can be easily accomplished with Configuration Manager for Jira - an app which allows you to move/merge/copy existing project configurations.
Your use case is well-documented here as part of Configuration Manager for Jira's list of solutions.
If you need any help or facing an issue with your project, don't hesitate to contact our support team.
I hope this helps :)

I am not aware of anyway to do that. But it is very straight forward simple work. You should be able to create fairly quickly. Or hand off to an assistant who has more time to do it.

@John Funk, I agree with you that it is very straight forward simple work. The problem is - my colleagues don't, so I was assigned to find a shortcut.
Not my choice, really.
