Hello,
We have added the "Microsoft Azure Active Directory single sign-on for JIRA" application for SSO authentication.
The SSO connection is working correctly. However we encounter a problem, when we validate our authentication via SSO to access the admin part of Jira a redirect is made on the home page.
So we can't verify our identity with SSO authentication because it makes a loop. Same problem for our DSI ticketing page, when we connect in SSO we are redirected to a random page.
When we connect with the basic identifier we have no redirection that is done.
Has anyone ever had the problem ?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Hello @Florian Prat,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community !!
I had also faced the same issue when we implemented "Azure Active Directory SSO with Jira". Later we found that we didn't whitelist the Backdoor Login URL or Emergency Login URL.
After adding and whitelist the backdoor login URL, the redirect will take you to the admin page, not on the homepage.
Let me know if the issue is resolved for you or not.
Thanks

Hello @Prashant Sultania
Thank you for your reply !
I just added the URL to the whitelists, unfortunately it still doesn't work. I still have the redirect.

Hello @Florian Prat
Normally in SAML SSO, it is IDP which sends the SAML Response and it is the responsibility of the SAML SSO plugin to create a user session. The IDP option needs to be enabled to get it work.
We are using MiniOrange SSO plugin and it works for us without any issue. Can you please tell me if you are using any third party plugin?
Thanks
