Hello, fellow Jira users.
I have installed the MS Teams integration package on Jira and configured as directed -- this appears to have worked. However when I try to authorize Teams via the 'Authorize in Jira' button, I am prompted for a URL 'Enter the link to your Jira account:'
No matter what URL i put in the field i receive 'Please enter valid Jira url'. I have tried the URL to the local server and variations but no luck.
Can anyone tell me what the URL is supposed to point to?
Thanks in advance!
Hi @John McNally I have recently integrate JIRA with MS Teams. Install Microsoft Teams for JIRA plugin in JIRA and JIRA Server connector in MS Teams
Then follow the steps mentioned in Plugin In like Create Application link and add Public Key etc..
In Teams, enter Connect , put JIRA ID from JIRA Plugin, it ask to Authorize , here Authorize ms-jira.atlassian.net to communicate with Teams, for this you need to take help of MS Teams Admin team.
@John McNally is it possible to share the screenshot ,where it ask JIRA URL. In my case, it didn't ask for JIRA URL, it ask for Authorization Key
