Microsoft Teams: what's the differences between JIRA Cloud and JIRA Server

hi guys, i found that there are two addons on Teams Marketplace, and i want to make sure the differences them

my questions are:
1. if my deployment is Jira Server, can i use Jira Cloud instead JIRA Server for Teams

2. is JIRA server only compatible with JIRA Server, what if my deployment is Data Center?

3. is Jira Cloud compatible with Data Center ?

Hi @congteng , 

To answer your questions: 

1) You can´t use the Jira Cloud version if you are on a server instance

2) Server is no longer supported but the architecture of server is similar to DC so if you are permitted to install the server version (downloadable jar) it should work. 

3) Jira Cloud and DC are different versions. Most organizations are migrating to the Cloud in line of Atlassian´s strategy and development roadmap which prioritizes their cloud offering as opposed to DC
