I have a question regarding a license bought by a colleague. He used his personal Atlassian account for purchasing, but now we are willing to upgrade and buy more components on a central (IT) account.
How can I migrate our Jira license to another Atlassian account?
Or is it possible to buy an upgrade on the IT account and just update the jira instance with this new license key?

You may use the following guide to ask your colleague to add the central account as Billing or Technical contact: https://confluence.atlassian.com/purchasing/how-do-i-update-the-contacts-for-my-atlassian-products-432802239.html. Then you may login as the central account and remove the other account from it.
