Migrating and merging 2 Jiras

Hi,

My company has 2 versions of JIRA.

The first is server (v6.4.7) with a couple of hundred users, approx 250 boards, lots of data and has plugins such as Zephyr installed.

We have a second version of cloud JIRA  that has approx 100 users, 25 boards, and various plugins. 

I am investigating migrating everybody from Server to Cloud. Is there any guide to help through this process? How much work is involved?

Hi John,

Merging two JIRA instances may be an extensive task.

First, you'll need to bring the data from your cloud instance to server because merging instances isn't possible in the cloud environment.
