Migrating from Bitbucket Cloud to Bitbucket data center

Hi,

Is there any way to migrate from Bitbucket cloud database to Bitbucket data center database? If so, please guide with the steps. Also would like to know if there is any other simple method to migrate large number of repositories from BB cloud to BB data center.

Hi @Swaminathan N,

Unfortunatelly, we cannot migrate from Bitbucket cloud Database to Bitbucket Data Center Database, Since Database backup is not provided for Bitbucket Cloud instances.

Approach would be to You can import the source code and history from Bitbucket cloud to Server. But note that you need to recreate all metadata such as permissions, comments, pull requests etc. either from the Bitbucket Server GUI or programmatically from the Bitbucket API.
