Migration to cloud

Hi,

I'm trying to migrate JIRA Server to Cloud and Jira Server to Cloud Migration Assistant report me this error:

2022-11-10 09:17:46.302 ERROR TEMPLATE project-export All project roles are empty.

All project roles are there:

Hi @Silvio Keller and welcome to the Community!

This means that you do have project roles in your server instance, but that you don't use them for assigning permissions properly in the projects you are trying to migrate. JMCA (rightfully) does not like that.

You should assign users to roles in the projects you are migrating to grant people the appropriate permissions.

If you are performing migration from Server to Cloud. I would suggest you open Move ticket with Atlassian Support and Migration Support team will help you on the migration error.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Please download the ZIP file and add the role in project Which is mentioned in the file.

This issue occurred due to the empty role or Issue type is not added in that project So please check the ZIP folder and then try to Migrate.

If you are still getting confuse, Please Create a move ticket to the atlassian team to resolve it. Atlassian Team offering for the Migration project to Migration team
